Title: Mr. B or Y.M. - Bachmann and "Keep Alive"
Post by: rogertra on September 13, 2014, 02:13:20 AM
It's probably premature and a marketing secret if you are but do you know if Bachmann has any plans to add a "keep alive" capacitor to your DCC equipped locomotives?

It's not that an expensive addition to DCC decoders and is really useful, especially on sound equipped locomotives.

Cheers.

Helpful but doesn't answer my question.  I already knew there are after market capacitors but does Bachmann plan to add a keep alive capacitor to it's own decoders?

Cheers

No plans at the moment. Since SoundTraxx manufactures the bulk of our decoders it will depend on whether they decide to go in that direction.
