N / n scale radius
December 24, 2011, 11:42:32 AM
Have manufacturers been putting the turn radius on locomotive boxes recently, if not i think they should it would save a lot of headaches, nothing worse than getting a beautiful loco and the front or rear drivers jump the rail arrrrh. yes this is a rant.

N / wheel flange difference
December 05, 2011, 09:23:46 AM
Ihave a n  and w j that can make a 11 inch radius but my lt. mountain cannot, the reason is the wheel flange difference. just that little bit of difference , what happens is the front set of drivers pop off, is there a standard wheel flange height?

N / f-3 n gauge
November 17, 2011, 08:38:16 AM
We need a new version of f-3 . With all these new models coming out like the gp-7 and new steam, wheres this engine? By the way we would need a powered and non powered for the well you know the speaker, because nobody makes a decent speaker for n yet, not a rant just sayin.

N / northern radius
December 04, 2010, 10:51:47 AM
Ihave a N&W J and it runs wonderful on my layout, i purchased a lt. mountain and it runs like crap, not for the pulling capacity but for the way it doesent make the curves. My question is if i bought another northern, not a j but regular northern would it make the turns? Considering that my j makes the turnes i was wondering if the standard northern uses the same drive block.

N / soundtraxx decoders
March 20, 2010, 11:29:01 AM
The question i have is this, the wire for the chuff sensor where does it go if your engine does not have a place for this? I have installed mrc decoders and they just work from the power used to turn the wheels.

N / f3 or f7 n scale
March 14, 2010, 12:19:51 PM
has anyone seen a new f3 or f7 in n scale from bachmann in the past few years? I would like to see them make it in a set like the gp 40s one powered and one dummy.

N / question about tenders
October 04, 2009, 07:02:21 PM
If you have an older bachmann engine where the tender hooks to the engine and the pin is plastic ,the new all wheel pickup on the new tender is useless. Answer hardwire, which makes a stiff connection and it still doesent run right. Not to mention the decoder wires also.

August 06, 2009, 10:17:39 PM
i thought since i have a northern 4-8-4 j i could buy a 4-8-2 for my layout and the engine doesent make the same curves , what gives its a beutiful engine but it  dosent pull worth anything very dissapointed.
