First decide what KIND of track you wish to have. I reccomend Atlas true track but make sure you plan out what it is going to look like BEFORE you start buying track.

They are not going to release new charactors into the range untill they cover the original Charactors!!!!!

It sounds like there may be a problem with electrical connection on the track. Take apart and re-assemble the e-z track and make sure that there are no metal objects on the track other than the train and cars. Hope this helps,

Bachmann makes DCC decoders for their E-Z command system. These will work with regular DCC too. You need to solder the appropriate wires to the motor of the engine. Hope this helps.

I think Bachmann is mainly interested in releasing older/main charactors before they release new charactors. Hope fully i am correct.

This sounds good. What is the size of the board (dimmensions)? , and what kind of layout are we looking at here? Two loops (inner and outer track)? sidings, accessories, ect?

Yes, These couplers will fit any HO scale Bachmann locomotive that was made within the past 10 years.

MRC makes sound decoders that may be installed in any locomotive. If you have trouble installing it, Take it into a hobby shop and they should be able to install it for you.

Bachmann has not changed the dimensions of the shell with minor alterations to the color. It should fit on perfectly. Good luck

The front truck does NOT have a spring on it. Make sure that the screw holding the truck down is not too tight. This may be the issue. If you have further difficulties send your locomotive in to Bachmann with a proof of purchase and they will repair it for free.
