Title: Chuggington vs Thomas
Post by: mrrailroad on April 03, 2013, 06:32:19 PM
Chuggington, the new train show. I'm not a fan of it but I dont hate it. But don't you think its a little over the top? The faces are incorporated into the front of the trains. Double decker roundhouse? At least Thomas and friends is possible besides the fact their living. I mean a flying train that is what put me over! What do you guys think?

While very unrealistic in some cases, Chuggington is a very popular show. Many preschoolers like it (my two brothers do, much to my disapproval. ;) ) But when you think about it, Chuggington is not any more unrealistic than Thomas. They both have talking trains (I never understood how that worked :P ) and they both have certain characteristics that make them different than that of a "normal show", (although children's shows are seeming to get sillier than they once were). I love Thomas and I always will. He and his friends are my heroes and I used (and still do!) what they taught me in my everyday life. Anyone who is judgmental that I like a "kiddie show" probably are just as guilty as I. Back to topic, though. Thomas and Chuggington are very different yet the same in many ways. My verdict is that Thomas is more likable, just because it has been around longer. Chuggington is a blooming show with plenty of potential. That is all I have to say.
P.S.- People always ask me why I always stick to the rules. Think about it. (hint- username)
