Got them today.
Thanks.
Even though I have them, it would be interesting to find out why it took a month after my faxing my bill of sale to Bill.
BTW, they forgot to include the new bushing caps with the weights.
Sigh...............................................

I replaced mine, (before I converted it to battery/RC) with a "user friendly"
connecting cable. I knew those plugs would be problematic for my big fingers, and went thru the same thing you did.

Yep, in the plans.
And adding chains and hoses to the plow.

A K27 plow was installed while she awaits her Barry's drive train.

I have a WP&Y Factory #14 with W. gear. I don't know the model number.
Let me research it a bit.

Thank You!
At least a live person would be a relief. I was beginning to wonder if everyone had left the building.
I will call Monday morning and report back here the results.

I called and left a message for Bridget on Monday.
I called and left a message on Tuesday.
I called today.
I have faxed, e-mailed, and called several times in the last three weeks.
I have not received the courtesy of a return call, nor the counter weights.
I want to know what is going on.
Why am I being treated like I don't exist?
Everyone I have talked to says, "Bachmann service is the best."

My 2-6-0 and 2-8-0 run on 6' diameter curves (R-2) on my indoor layout.
However there is a significant slow down while the locos travel these curves.

Large / Re: K-27 Old Question - Counterweights (Again?)
February 28, 2009, 02:46:24 PM
Bringing this back to the top again.
I checked with my dealer and no counterweights have been shipped to him.
Can someone please tell me what is going on?
Should I mail a copy of my bill of sale to the Bachmann service dept?
Thanks,
John

I have glued all my bearing covers shut on my Spectrum cars.
No problem at all. You can still lube from the inside, just like you always do.

No response from fax or e-mail yet.
K-27 still setting in dead line, waiting on counter weights.

No response to my e-mail the other day to service.
I must be on their "black list".

I "dummied" the third truck on mine. It essentially became a free rolling tender.
Made no difference in pulling power and uses less electrons now.

You shouldn't have to send any new loco in for repair.
It's new and stamped "Quality checked" on the box, right?
