Never looked at the back of my eztrack, but it sounds like you have 18" radius curved track ("R18").

Jonathan

Dear OM,

Hmm,

Useful, descriptive numbers.

Usually it's some undecipherable part number or meaningless mold number.

To add to jon's info, the "30" means "30 degrees per section".  That is the normal size 18"R curve.

360 degrees per circle/30 degrees per section = 12 sections per circle.

In other words, it takes 12 sections of 30 degree curves to make a complete (360 degree) circle.

The gray roadbed track has nickel-silver rails, which is better than the "starter set" black roadbed track with steel rails.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

OM -

To build on what Joe wrote, avoid the steel rail, black roadbed track like the plague.
