Title: Bachmann 44896 N Scale Track Pack
Post by: night116 on January 12, 2015, 09:24:57 AM
I just bought a Bachmann 44896 N Scale Track Pack to add to my bachmann set, I know how to link the switches together, but I dont know the final wiring for power of the switches.
The wire in the kit is a red wire that connects to the switch blocks, but the end of it, is a u shaped crimped connector, but the power supply that bachmann supplied with my train set is a push in stranded wire type.
am I connecting it to the right place? (16v AC accessories).
I hope I have made some sense?

The 'Accessory' terminals are the right place to get power for the switches. If one leg of the 'U' connector will not fit into the push connector, strip the wire to expose the copper, and insert the wire into the push connector.

thanks so much for that, I just wasn't sure I was in the right place.
