I have just had my first experience with the Parts department and I must say that I am just pleased with the experience. I just felt the need to let folks know that I found the Parts Dept. to be responsive to my email, helpful, and just a pleasure to deal with. Thank you to the folks at Bachmann. I have been a loyal customer and you have just given me reason to remain one.

I cant agree more. I think it was Jennifer who helped take care of a problem that wasnt really Bachmanns fault. (xmas present not ordered correctly) And they sent out the right part before I ever returned the old one. AWESOME customer service.

Clearly your a glass half empty types. Most of the tooling is done. The walkway and cab is all that needs to be done. Besides that why would they have to do cars and track? Hold on...im gonna go order some Athearn track to go along with my Micro Engeneering cars.... go play with your choo-choos.

Nope...I didnt. The drive will be custom made. The 70 tonned parts dont work here. The main reason for showing this is to show the Bachmann Dr. how little they need to do in order to enter the HOn3 markets. Bachmann needs to do for HOn3 what they did for On30.

N scale track is the right width but the ties are too small and too close together. While I think On30 has taken off Im sure HOn3 would take off even more. Most of the HO modelers have all the detail, structures vehicles etc all the have to do is change the track and trains. And I have spoken to many narrow gauge fan who would love to model narrow gauge but are either scared of steam locos or just don't like steam. That why a center cab diesel such as EBT or Georgetown or the 4-5 that Durango and Silverton have would be a good seller. As I said , a center cab and few hoppers and you've got yourself a railroad.

i have always said with space limits and price points, hon3 is becoming more popular. the sp#1  is a good point. as well as a centercab such as hotshot and the other 3-4 units on the D&S and EBT. a couple of these and a dozen EBT hoppers you can have a nice well detailed layout on 3x8. What Bachmann did for on30 they could do for HOn3.
