I am in need of the Middle Drive shaft for my 55 Ton Three Truck Shay.  Bachmann Trains is out of stock and has been for sometime. I have talked to the manager or the parts department and he confirmed Bachmann is sold out of the part.  Without a new drive shaft my shay is worthless.  Is there anyone who has this part and is willing to sell it to me?  Or, is there anyone who can tell me how to repair the part.  The gears on the drive shaft are not tight on the shaft so therefore will not engage and turn the drive wheels. Has anyone replaced the Cylinder Assembly?  I bought a used shay and discovered that on the yoke at the bottom of the drive shaft, the small tab has broken off.  I can see the two screws that hold the assembly to the body of the engine, but how do you disconnect the shaft on the left side of the assembly?  Will appreciate any help.
