well guys we al remember the great products
how about some of the great prices
who remembers here in n.y.c the MAYS department store after christmas sale
on A.H.M. .. with absoulty low ball prices back around 1971-1974
GG1s for 15.99
BIG BOYS for 19.99
CAB forwards for 19.99
a.h.m. passenger cars as low as 2.99
they had a full page ad in the n.y. daily news

now to reminice and wonder what ever happened to those good old days

if anyone remembers the older our gang comedys ,, i mean the silent ones filmed in the late 1920s, theres a show called sundwon limited where the our gang kids are running around a santa fe engine facility, with what  looks like brand new or washed clean santa fe pacifics running by.

what king of camera do you have, make sure you read the cameras manual  there are settings galore for all in door and out door settings and all sorts of special features,,  mean while take more pictures and let us see them

klondike,, how was the old sprctrum 4-6-2- running,, i recall the engine had very little pulling power cause of lack of traction weight and the tender was really light weight, is this the early spectrum unit from around 1991

im sure they will do a great job on the paint jobs,, it will be nice to see whos gets the first paints jobs off there assembly lines, MTH, ATHEARN ,  they both do the SD70
it would be great to see a new york  central unit not a fantasy roadname
hope these real units pass around the new york city area,

if anyone is interesed the tender on this 2-10-4 had a gold square outline and large texas & pacific lettering, this is an older bachmann unit from the old days

bachmann did make a 2-10-4 in TEXAS & PACIFIC with smoke
this engine was available from 1981 thru i believe 1987
stock number 41-560-21
