The 2-8-0 truck works fine.  Looks the same as the 4-6-0 to me.

Part is indicated as "sold out" for some time now.  Any chance it will become available?

N / Re: Address change on DCC Bachmann GP7

I put my GP7 on a shelf for a while.  Finally took it down and thought I would try some of your suggestions.  Banged it around a bit but could not get the shell off.  Tried again to change the address and it worked like a charm.

I have both and find the 2-6-0 to a more reliable runner.  The 4-6-0 is more likely to derail through my Atlas switches.

I have done that, doesn't change anything.  Thanks for the help, however.

Thanks for responding.  Guess I don't know how to do a reset.  Does not seem to read anything much; however,  CV 8 read "008".  How do I reset?

N / Address change on DCC Bachmann GP7
February 14, 2013, 01:07:58 PM
I have a new MRC Advanced2 DCC controller.  It will not change the address of my GP7.  I have tried multiple times on both the program track and the main line.  A couple of other locos changed without incident.  My older Bachman EZ controller changed it easily in the past.  Any ideas?

Will the Bachman 4-6-0 run okay on Atlas 9 3/4 radius track?
