Title: E-Z track
Post by: jburt on August 27, 2008, 10:09:28 PM
Have started to lay track with e-z track. The hook up is not as forward as I thought. The rerailer has a plug on each side. The hook up wire is easy to install. But if the rail does not have the wire, and you get the one for it, the ends are different. How do you hook these things up ? Is there a general instruction write up that answers this and many others?

Bachmann E-Z Track uses a flat, two prong plug that plugs into one or the other side of the special connector track.  This plug comes with a wire that has either a 3 mm phone plug or wire leads on the other end depending on whether you are connecting it to an E-Z Command or a modern power pack with round jack or an older power pack with screw terminals.

Soldering wires to the rails is an alternative if you have the equipment and the skills.  But the proper Bachmann wire is quicker and easier.
