Hi! Rfght now Sat 3/23 there is a 2-4-2 on ebay at the bid price of $89. Try bidding on it and if you win get your drivers and resell whats left for parts. I ususally do this if bachmann doesnt have the parts I need. But congrats to bachmann they are constantly adding parts to their site. Those engines are hard to come by specially the parts. GOOD LUCK Gene

Large / Re: One Truck Trolley Motor Brushes and Springs
January 10, 2013, 07:04:05 PM
DSE!! The best thing to do with those motor blocks is change them out to an aristo motor block. I have 2 trolleys that I have changed out and they run perfectly. The aristo block for the u25 or fa diesel fits right in the space as the bachmann motor block. With little or no cutting involved. The only drawback is that the ar blocks have small connectors on them that have to be removed and rewired to the underside of the trolley, which is very simple to do. second of all the wheels do not line up with the side frames of the trolley, but form a distance who can tell. Youll never need a set of springs, brushes, etc. Mine have been in operation for over a yr or more with no problems. Hope this helps. I got mine off Ebay for a fraction of the price of a new motor block. Hope this little bit of info helps. gene

RYE!!! What 4-6-0 do you have? Is it the one with the little GREY pins holding the side rods on or the ANNIE with the small metal silver six sided screw? The first one mentioned is just pry-ed off carefully not breaking the pin holding it in. The second just unscrews. Hope this helps.  GENE
