Title: Installing the Bachmann EZ Command Decoder with Wire harness 44925
Post by: Sportyperson on May 22, 2012, 02:24:31 PM
I just received my new decoder in the mail, and want to install it on an analog engine. I have a "Model Power" Burlington 2828 #96805-BN dual drive F2 A. I need detailed instructions, step by step, wire by wire, on installing the decoder so I can program the engine to my new Bachmann EZ command set. Note: I just received my new controller and haven't even opened it yet. Thanx

The decoder has all the pertinent instructions included with it in the packaging. Read through everything and you will have no problems. The wiring follows the standards laid out by the NMRA. It will be up to you to sort out the loco's wiring and ensure that the motor(s) are electrically isolated from the frame.

This is assuming you have a multimeter and soldering experience.
