Title: N scale EZtrack question
Post by: miniaturist on October 01, 2009, 04:36:07 PM
Can you run 61 foot N scale flat cars on 11.25 inch radius EZ track? What is the longest car that can be run on this radius?

Dear Mini,
Specifically what car are you speaking of?
Thanks!

Dear Bach-man,

I want to run a 61 foot 8 inch Micro-Trains bulkhead flat car on my N scale EZtrack layout. The radius is 11.25 inches. Before I buy the car, I wanted to know if it will make the turns and pass through the single portal tunnel (which is on a curved section). I have a triangular shaped layout with 4 curved track pieces in each bend, with a 5 inch straight track piece in between the 4 curved pieces; that is, 2 curved, 1 straight & 2 curved. Then I have straight track pieces in between the bends to make a large traingle.

Hope I didn't go on too much.
Thanks, Mini

Dear Mini,
With that info, I'm sure an N Scaler will be able to give a definitive answer, but my best guess is that it will.
Have fun!
