Title: SOUND FOR A HO SPECTRUM HHP-8?
Post by: stationmaster12 on October 17, 2009, 11:46:44 PM
Hey guys,
I have made progress on my HO catenary on my layout. I posted a video on YouTube. Thank you all for all of your input. Now here is another question. Can a Bachman Spectrum HO HHP-8 be equipped with a sound decoder? and if so which one? And if any of you have done this, do you have videos of it? Thanks again!!!!

P.S.
Here is the link to my video on the first catenary structure to go on my layout.

ESU Loksound makes a series of decoders with electric sounds.  There are a selection of Bombardier locos in the run.  The hitch is that they are designed around European equipment, and would probably need a different set of horns, and bells.  The only Nor Am electric I've ever seen a decoder for is a GG-1.
