Title: Cement for Plastic Parts on Spectrum 2-8-0
Post by: edwark on November 27, 2009, 10:17:20 PM
The combination of my grandson's "let's see how fast it will go" and an incorrectly set turnout sent my Spectrum 2-8-0 to the floor with considerable cosmetic damage to plastic front end parts. The Plastruct Plastic Weld I use for assembling structures  (for ABS, Styrene, Butyrate and Acrylic) has no effect on this plastic. Neither does Testors Plastic Model Cement. What can I use to make solid bonds in this material??

TIA, Ed

Dear Ed,
Try ACC. I use Dr. Mike's, which I get from Micro-Mark.
Have fun!
