Title: Norfolk Southern Black
Post by: andylvtrains on January 04, 2010, 10:27:32 PM
I need to replace handrails and other details on a NS loco.  Is there a particular tone of black that would better match the black on the shell? I know floquil makes "engine black" and "csx black", but I do not want to start ordering a bunch of colors before I know any of them is close enough to the NS black ....

depends on the model and manufacturer......

Floquil is not a good choice for plastic hand rails.

R/C car paints are good for hand rails, use a glossy black, and your weathering will mask any differences.
