Title: Trouble programming Proto 2000 E6 with Dynamis
Post by: Billm10454 on January 08, 2010, 03:21:30 PM
I have programmmed a few Proto 2k switchers and a few BLI switchers, but when I try to program the Proto e6's they do not respond. The light will go on and off twice after I hit prgram but it does not move slightly like the other ones do when you hit program on the Dynamis. Is there something I am doing wrong? I have successfully programmed an E8 Proto, but no luck with the E6's. Anyone have any ideas what is wrong. Thanks

How used is the E6?  By that I mean is the wheels dirty?  I have run into that problem with a few decoders in the past and what I have found is the signal is not getting through to the decoder as strong as it should.  Check your track and loco wheels.  Hope that helps.   Stephen
