Title: how to add TSUNAMI SOUND

Hi All
BACHMANN SPECTRUM HO 2-8-0 DCC TRAIN LOCO ROCK 83606 can add TSUNAMI SOUND  or not If it can add what part no can add and how to install TSUNAMI SOUND .

The tsunami light steam decoder would do nicely.

the 4 Tsunamis I have bought all had to be hard wired in.

I buy an 8 pin plug with teather, hook it up to th correct pins and make it a plug in decoder. IMO that will be the simple way to do it. I have not looked lately to see if they have decoders with plugs already on the wire leads

I did a quick search of the general forum and ho forum and found this link posted not to long ago.
It will help if you carefully read all the information. With a 9 pin to 8 pin adapter, you do not have to do any soldering at that point.

It will be a challenge for a beginner depending on your patience.
Minimum soldering will be, soldering the two wires to the speaker terminals.
