I just bought the CSX version of this on saturday for $70, with the Bachmann price at $165, I think. I got it at a train show that was never opened, still sealed, and everything. But I don't get it for 2 weeks for my birthday because my mom bought it.
I'm also getting an EZ-Command, but that's irrevelant. Is the CSX C40-8W a good loco?
He had another CSX C40-8W on display along with the Santa Fe, BNSF, and UP. And when I bought the one that was still sealed I read the sticker on the box and made sure that it said CSX C40-8W and that the box was still sealed. I know that the loco looks really good but I don't know how well it runs. But I assume it runs well because it's Spectrum and it's $165. So.. what are your thoughts on this loco?
