Title: Adding HO Single Crossovers For Connecting 18" & 22" Radius Track Layouts
Post by: estepter on February 19, 2010, 06:43:12 AM
Can a 22" radius and an 18" radius E-Z track layout be connected by two single crossovers (44137 and 44138) and this entire layout with two trains be driven by one DCC 16V Digital Command?

What if I put a turnout in the 18" radius track as well?

Dear estepter,

Full Maxx's layout:

If you were to make an "early cutoff" configuration with a R and L 18" turnout, you would need a 3" straight halfway around the divergent curve to match the curves of the 18"R oval shown above.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,
