Post by: lyfries on March 02, 2010, 05:06:18 PM
I would like to know the drawbar pull in ounces of the New 0-6-0 Saddle Tank Switcher product # 81811.

Right now my Spectrum 0-6-0T is apart but it would be nice to know as my Mantua 0-6-0T with a DZ125 decoder can pull 27 oz. That is 10 cars before leaving the yard and entering a little grade. Most of the cars have plastic wheels though. Probably would be better with all metal wheels but really not important.

Lex; your 0-6-0T does not have drawbar pull of 27 oz - it may be able to pull a train which weighs 27 oz.

Very good, go to the head of the class. Never said it had 27 oz of drawbar pull.
