Title: E-Z command loco. addresses
Post by: mechanic on June 10, 2010, 08:56:54 PM
I was wondering if anyone knows what address corresponds to the numbers on the e-z command controller?
If I program a locomotive to button #1 and button #8 on my e-z command and later take my locomotives to a friends layout that uses MRC's prodigy advanced 2  what addresses are they? What do Bachmann's loco  buttons correspond to on other systems is what I want to know,I think.
Thanks for any replies.
Eric

Bachmann E-Z Command addresses 1 through 9 correspond to standard addresses 1 through 9.  However, Bachmann E-Z Command address 10 corresponds to address 0 on those systems that support analogue (dc) locomotives.

If you have a dc power pack plugged into the E-Z Command, then the dc pack runs analogue locomotives and  E-Z Command address 10 becomes standard address 10.
