Here's a C&O K3 i did out of a F-19 Pacific by Rivarossi. I still have some tweaks to do but its all in all almost ready for operation.
My intent was to take a second F-19 and put it on an IHC chassis and then use the IHC shell for a new pacific, the Mikado shell on the IHC didn't fit on the Rivarossi pacific chassis for the F-19
Heres the K3

(i know the road number is wrong)
I bought a second F-19 and turned it into a K3
Here's a shot of the F-19 that i still have. I got the one above off ebay and noticed after i took it all apart and started the modifcations that someone somewhere swapped the tenders from a vanderbuilt. I may or may not eventually give the K3 a Vanderbuilt Tender.

Your locomotive projects always turn out so attractive. Keep 'em coming and I'll keep enjoying them. Would love to see them hauling a consist.
Bravo and thanks.
Jonathan
Thanks, might be 2 weeks before shes put into service(A, I don't have a layout so i'd have to set one up, and B, i need a McHenery Coupler for it, i may put a Kadee box on it, not sure yet). I'll be doing a photo of her soon for my website, I'll have a caboose behind it for that photo.
Ok a few more shots, one is for Jonathan, i know they more then likely didn't pull the overland coaches but it was the only thing within reach at the time haha.

hey jonathan you have aim?
Thanks for thinking of me. I have aim, but don't know how to use it. I think it's an age related thing. ;)
