I completed my dogs funeral train on friday 6/18/2010

Casket Car "Fetch" and Open Air Coach "Tug of War" her favorite games

Coach "Together Again" and Coach/Obs "Kiss Her For Me", songs that remind me of her

The names on the Locomotive and cars were painstakingly applied letter by letter and in some cases the numbers were placed number by number. Only "BALTIMORE AND OHIO" was placed as a whole decal.

BOFan -

I didn't realize you were building this as a memorial for your dog.  I'm touched and I have to say I think this is a nice remembrance.  I'm also impressed with the quality of your work.

Some people might give you a hard time about this.  If so, it's their loss because they have never experienced the kind of bond which people can have with an animal.  I understand the pain you must feel about the loss of Sarah.  I had a dog for 17 years and her death is still one of the most difficult experiences I've ever had.

Thanks, I had Sarah for only a short 7 years, but i had her for her entire life time, from birth to death as i also have her mother and father. Which both are still around with me for now, but her mother is getting old, shes about 12 or 13 i've had her since she was 6 weeks, i've had the father since he was born.

I think you did a lovely job on the train.

Plenty of seated figures available. After the lettering job you did on the train, painting their clothes black should be a snap for you.
