Here's some rare(i think) items in my collection. I say they are rare because i hardly if ever seen em before.

The two box cars after the engine and the two stock cars and caboose after the center B&O car. At first i thought the center B&O car was a rare item, but looking closer it appears to be a custom made car. The Locomotive is only on there to keep the cars from rolling off the track haha.

In this picture I've only seen the freight cars a handful of times. Some only once!

And of course, can't let the Lincoln Funeral coach go unshown.
What do you have?
very very very nice. me nothing, *LOL* dont have the 'money'
nice looking lot you got their! :)
It's challenging to tell given the small photo size... With the exception of the ventilated box car which is probably an IHC import and perhaps the custom box car with the big B&O, the freight cars and caboose look MDC-Roundhouse products although some could be Athearn-Roundhouse products. The baggage car is a Rivarossi model painted by Con-Cor; usually sold as a four-car set with coaches and a combine. And the Lincoln car is an AHM import. Except for the 4-4-0s, all of them are out of production.

You pretty much nailed it.
The first two box cars, flat car and the two stock cars, caboose and gravel car are all Roundhouse Kits.
The Ventilated Box Car is IHC as well as the custom Box car with the B&O on it.
The baggage car wasn't really implied as being rare because i don't have the whole set, i just simply squeezed it in for the funeral car which was the main spotlight of that photo. I recently got the baggage car from con-cor which still has a few road names in stock.
Someone not long ago had the entire set of B&O coaches by con-cor on ebay for about $90.While they are nice cars and own several of them(a set in Ma & Pa that i custom painted, two coaches in Carolwood Pacific that were custom painted, the Southern Crescent Limited set, and the two cars in my fallen pups funeral train) I don't think $90 is a good price on a set of 4 kits. I mighht get lucky and find the rest of the B&O at a show one day. Even though they are the wrong paint scheme for that era car.
the con-cor coaches come with interriors which was a big selling point to me. now if i can only get bachmann do to a B&O Royal Blue set like they are doing in N scale and I'd be happy :-D

I agree. Especially if that was supposed to be a "starting bid," it's way too high.
Sometimes I wonder where some of these eBay sellers get their notions of what something is worth. :-\
i had that lincoln coach but in the move it got detroyed. such a shame....
