Title: How many DCC EZ Command turnouts ?
Post by: spanky30 on June 21, 2010, 10:48:31 PM
What do you do if you have more than 10 DCC turnouts in a layout ? I am only using DCC turnouts on my layouts with my Bachmann ez command. After you get past ten do you need a second ez command are what ?  Spanky

Dear Spanky,
If your layout has more than ten turnouts it's probably time to consider an upgrade to Dynamis or another more advanced controller.
Have fun!

Thank you Bach- man my present 4x8 section has 5. I plan on expanding in the future with a "yard" . I was asking for the future and also cost. Don't want to buy the wrong items. I have bought some old boxcars when I should have went with newer stuff to be cost effective.

Why just make your other turnout analogue?  That is wire them up seperately to the AC terminals of an old DC power pack.  You will have to buy regular turnouts and wire them to a terminal block and fro there to the power pack.
