Title: Red E-Z Command Power Wire
Post by: trainmom on May 20, 2007, 07:28:44 PM
Hi.  Can anyone direct me to where I can buy a replacement red power wire that can connect to the E-Z command controller?  I can't find anything on the internet.

I've tried splicing on a mono-plug from Radio Shack, but it didn't work.  If I can't find a replacement wire easily, I guess I'll try back at Radio Shack to figure out what I've done wrong.

Thanks in advance.  Trainmom

The pair of red wires from EZ command to the track has a 3 conductor miniature plug on the end. The tip  conductor is not connected to anything, just used to index or lock the plug in.   I would contact Bachmann for a replacement cable, although  a stereo  plug will work, just don't use the tip connection..
"Mr Bachmann" may read this and advise you further.
