greetings,

will kato N shinkansen trains run on tomix tracks? i'll be getting a tomix shinkansen starter set with tracks and kato set (trains only).

Yes.

N gauge is N gauge by no mater what the brand.

If you buy some Kato track later, you will need the KATO 20-045 conversion piece to connect Tomix to Kato track.
