Title: RTR GE 70 ton diesel dcc ready

I just purchased  1 of these,BUT I run dc  using a Tech 4 260 w/momentum  for power,,,Do I need to do anything to this engine before running it on DC power ? thanks ,,,dunkster,,,

The short answer is that you do not need to do anything, the Bachmann (Lenz) 1 Amp 2 function decoder is dual mode (run on DC or DCC), but I would strongly encourage you to remove the decoder and replace it with the 2 jumpers that should be included with the locomotive. It provides greatly improved DC (analog) running, but if you get a DCC system remember to put the decoder back in, on DCC this loco runs really smooth.

Click on EZ Command just to the left. The decoder info is there.
