Post by: CabooseX204 on September 26, 2010, 12:07:26 PM
Are these turnouts compatible with Digitrax controllers (i.e.: Digitrax Zephyr, Digitrax Super Chief, etc.)
???

Thanks,
Bob

They are NMRA compliant and are compatible with all NMRA compliant systems. (Except some basic and older DCC systems that don't have the capability to control turnouts.)

Thanks for both of your replies...

Hunt:  If I read that correctly, they don't hold their programming after power is turned off for a while???
If this is correct,  that could be a real pain. Is that pretty much a standard happening, or just an exception to the rule?

I have a small mountain of EZ track and a few turnouts from my first layout...  I used Micro-Engineering Code 83 on my new layout. However, I want to build my grandson his own layout and thought a few of the new decoder equipped T/O's added to my old EZ track sections would be good starter layout for him to operate. Now I'm wondering.....  but I really need to watch my money, so that's why I want to use the EZ track I have  "on-hand".

Thanks,  Bob
