Hello all,

I am going to be adding sound to a Spectrum 2-8-0 and want to add a sound cam. Does anyone know the diameter of the axle. I measured it to be 3mm. I just want to check and make sure my measurement is correct before I order the cam.

I just measured the four axles in one of my Spectrum 2-8-0's with a digital caliper. The measurements varied slightly between 2.47 and 2.49 mm. Nominally, that would be 2.5 millimeters.
