i have a Kato engine and it has a chip with the little pluds in it what do the plugs do and is this DCC or just lights

It sounds like it is just the jumper plug, so it bypasses the DCC and allows you to run it on DC.

this unit has 2 plugs what happens if i remove them

Thanks Hunt Thanks Acy Yes i have a 8 pin connector on top of my light board so i need the DCC chip to plug into this Thanks so much
