Title: How come Bachmann doesn't make any Diesel Boston and Maine engines?
Post by: Jacary27 on June 17, 2007, 09:54:02 PM
I know they have made some steam in the past and the doodlebug.  They have also made some freight cars in the B&M colors.  My question is why have they never made any of the Standard diesels they ran?

Thanks
Adam

Microscale makes some good B&M decals. Decal a diesel yourself, don't wait until the manufacturers make a model of them

I believe Bachamnn did make a 44 ton  switcher in B&M colors.  Check ebay.  They may be available there.  As Paul says, you can always paint your own.  Most manufacturers will make engines for the larger roads. B&M was a small one compared top Pennsy, New York Central, Santa Fe, etc.

Good Evening All,

Ironically,  both Atlas and Athearn have been offering diesels in B&M schemes over the past two years or so.
