just wondering if this can be done with the e-z track system? new to this, i have a on30 train.
E-Z track does not bend except at the joints. You should be able to get "some" rise at the joints, but they will not be a curved joint, just an angle change. If you do go the E-Z track route, I would think you would be better off using shorter sections of track. That way you could make the transition smoother.

Ez track will flex more then enough to transition to a grade but you must fasten it down to a stable surface with nails or screws at the ends and center.
I made a bridge for my kids Thomas set using 2x4's and 1/4 plywood to fasten the track to.
If any one wants pictures to see how I did it I'll take some and post them.
