Yes, you can buy them. You just cannot buy the ones in the Bachmann factory locos.
The ones you can buy have more features than the ones in the Bachmann locos.

Neitehr Bachmann nor Soundtraxx sell the decoders available in Bachmann lcoomotives, you would have to purchase a similar and more expensive full version.
