Title: Putting Ditch lights on GP30

Hi All,
  I have a GP30 that has the dcc equipped decoder and i would like to put ditch lights on it and with the dcc board i don't know how to do it. Any suggestion.

Depending on the make of your GP-30, its decoder may have lighting outputs for only forward and reverse lighting.  You would need a decoder with at least 2 more function outputs if you want alternate flashing ditch lights on the front or four more outputs if you want them both front and rear.  If you want constant ditch lights, you could parallel them with the headlights and/or the rear lights - just make sure you do not overload the decoder.  In H0 scale, surface mount LED's are a good basis for ditch lights and with the proper resistor (1000 ohms or more) draw very little current.
