Title: Are the #6 Remote Crossover Turnouts DCC Gapped
Post by: dghanson on June 22, 2011, 01:21:55 AM
I am putting together a DCC layout, but I am wondering if the left and right hand #6 remote crossover turnouts(Item Numbers 44575 and  44576) can be used for this layout?

dghanson,
Yes they can be used for your layout. You just won't be able to operate them from your command controller. That is the only difference between them and the 44137 and 44138 crossover's

You will probably want to find a separate power source other than your DCC system to supply power to those turnouts. Any cheap power-source that is rated appropriately will suffice.
