'm getting desperate, because I'm kinda a lost sheep. I was trying to figure out an easier way to get sound onto my Bachmann GP7 EMD 567. I have done some research so and here's more questions?
I noticed that the GP7, factory circuit board you can install an 8-Pin Plugin. Just like the picture below, but it has a very small green rectangular chip.
Now my question is would it be possible to hook up this:

to This:

and then into (CON2) here:

Is it possible to do the sets above to get sound into my Bachmann GP7 prouduction?

Open up the loco and do a test fit.

the white plug in pic 1 (9 pin JST plug) plugs into decoder in pic 2 where the green JST plug currently is replacing it.
The green 8 pin plug in pic 1 then replaces the 8 pin green plug in pic 3.
speaker mounts in fuel tank.

Are you asking about both electronic compatibility and space issues?

Yes that is correct, I am asking about both eletronic compatibility and space issues.
The bachmann decoder looks like a TSC-T1 decoder that I have installed in my VIA Rail P42DC, mobile decoder.
