Does anyone know if Bachmann will change the running gear of an older model GS4, using a Bowser replacement and then install the correct DCC decoder? I know I could send the Locomotive in and get the correct DCC decoder installed, I just do not know if they would change the running gear. Also?
Bachmann will not do either as far as I know, they can replace your loco with a new model with DCC for a $25 fee for the replacement and a $20 fee for the DCC upgrade. There are however many hobby shops and other companies/places that can do both for you of course for a price.
