The NCE BachDSL decoder designed to replace the decoder in the Bachmann on board diesels can be hacked to fit in the 70 ton and use the original front and rear lights. I have the link if anyone is interested. I can PM the link to you.
This decoder makes the Bachmann diesels run much better, at least until Bachmann comes up wit a better design. The decoder cost about $20.00.

I have done similar project with a LokSound decoder in my 70 ton.
Some may be interested in the fact the 70 ton can easily be converted to Hon3 with NWSL replacement geared wheels.
