Title: Trouble with the DCC Niagara

 :( My Niagara has problems running on my new layout where straight DC and a DCC Mallet runs great. Any suggestions????

Nobody can help if you don't describe the problem you are having. Is it loss of power,derailing, too slow, too fast,etc. Any information you can share will help other's help you fix your problem. Sometime's including brand names of loco's, controller's, and track help's also.

 >:( On the northbound main, it stops dead in the same two places, no shorts and power is present. And at other random spots, it does the same thing. However, on the southbound main it runs just find. I use MRC's Prodigy. All the track has been washed down with alcohol and rubbed with a Briteboy.

I had the same problem with my layout one section of about 8 ft. in two spots would cause the loco to stop. power was there but nothing happening. I added terminal joiners from Atlas in those spots and it fixed the problem. Try that first and see if it helps.
