Title: Help!
Post by: LancerG2 on November 07, 2011, 12:52:18 AM
hello there just to let you know i am a new member of the forums but im not here to introduce myself.  :D

A few years ago i bought the Bachmann RAIL KING set with the GP-40 locomotive however a slight problem has came underway. Firstly the train has been victim to light damage.

I decided since superglue won't help holding the railings to the side of the train i decided of thinking of getting a new shell. Unlike other brands they places to unscrew the shell to the locomotive.

please help!

Pictures of step by step deconstruction (how to take apart) or a detailed example will do.

Thanks by the way. Over and out.

Lancer

The fuel tank pulls off and there is 2 screws under it to remove the shell.
If it's just the handrails broken off try using a plastic compatible cement found at your local hobby shop. Zap is a good one I use the medium.

That's because the doc. does not show the fuel tank or the screws holding the shell.
