Title: N scale curved terminal rerailer wiring question.
Post by: JSRS1809 on November 20, 2011, 05:24:54 PM
 Hello!

I'm a newbie, and am building an n-scale layout for my grandson. I would like to know the wiring configuration for a curved terminal rerailer track (non-EZ type).

Which plug lead runs to which rail? ???

Thank you,

The short answer is that it shouldn't matter, especially if you're just going to make a simple oval track.  The direction the train moves will be controlled by the direction switch on the power pack (assuming an analog DC connection) by controlling the polarity to the rails.  If you're using DCC (Digital Command Control), it's even easier.

It's DC current, so if you don't like the direction the train goes, you can always unplug the terminal track, turn the plug over, and plug it back in.
