Title: new Bachmann S-4 complete manual
Post by: hl1949 on December 07, 2011, 01:40:53 AM
I'm looking for the complete DCC manual for the new S-4, not the flyer that was included, to find out what CV's are supported

Try contacting Soundtraxx as they supply the sound decoder for the Bachmann engines.  What you will have is Tsunami technology meaning it will not have all the "bells and whistles" of a full blown Tsunami.

Bachmann DCC does not come with a complete manual. Never have. They come with diagrams.
Look in Parts and Service for the DCC instructions.
Take some time to look though all the Bachmann site.
Many new users here never take time to look though all the site.

Hunt,

I think we are playing semantics here.    As I said in my post,  what Bachmann uses is not a normal,  full blown Tsunami.   And.....even if it is a newer,  different product than what was used in the K4,   Soundtraxx would still be the place to contact as I mentioned.   Also,  thankyou for pointing out that there is a place on this site to get info.

Fine,   to each his own opinion......But,   I still contend that one could try contacting Soudtraxx which was my original suggestion.

Hunt,

Thankyou for the Soundtraxx information on a possible manual and where to find it.
