Title: DCC and EZ TRACK
Post by: photoguy844 on December 23, 2011, 10:45:54 PM
I currently have a starter set (oval) with EZ-Track. I want to hook up a DCC in place of the current transformer. I read in an article that the DCC signal should not form a loop or the signal might be affected. Are there insulated rail connectors that can be used to make a break in the track  signal or is there another option?

Dear PG,
An oval is no problem. You're probably thinking about a reverse loop, which will cause a short without a reverse loop module:

And yes, there are insulated rail joiners available for situations where they are needed. Your hobby shop will have them.
Happy Holidays!
