Post by: uncbob on January 16, 2012, 07:50:00 AM
Looking at an internet dealer's site I see 2 Bachmann C&O 2-6-6-2 types  listed ?

One is labeled as an H4
The other does not carry the H designation

Were ther 2 different releases and if so what is the difference

OK I found the answer
One is an USRA model
The other is the USRA modified to represent a H4

The Bachmann H-4 & H5 are models of C&O articulateds and are good running locomotives with nice detail .
They also lend theirselves to mild kitbashing well as there were a number of that wheel arrangment owned by RRs around the country.
below are two shots i took before and after the minor kitbashing  mine.
