What colours are used to make the paint colour of the Bachmann Henry?
It is a special blend not available to the public I believe. The Bach-man has told us before.
What colour did they say it was?
You probably won't want to get this - but here it is:
Railmatch LNER Darlington Apple Green (2621)
Buy it at http://www.anticsonline.co.uk/1820_1.html (http://www.anticsonline.co.uk/1820_1.html)
Thank you to RW James for showing me the accurate colour needed for the paint job!

A quick caveat - I'm not saying that this is the color Bachmann uses (which you would need for touch ups). But this would be the proper color if you wanted to paint Henry the color he should be. He was a LNER engine before he came to Sodor.
Yes it's not the actual color Bachmann uses.
What number was Henry before he came to Sodor?
From my knowledge, it is unknown, but all I know is his original shape was a mix between an A1 Pacific and a C1 Atlantic.
What kind of locomotive was Gordon based on before he came to Sodor?
A1-A3 PACIFIC LIKE FLYING SCOTSMAN
Actually, Gordon was the test loco for Gresley's pacifics, his class being A0.
so gordon is like scotsmans grandad then lol :D
He's basically the eldest brother of all the pacifics ;D
What colour red do I need to paint the buffer beams of Henry and Gordon? What colour red does Bachmann use for this?

There was one pacific before Gordon, called The Great Bear, built by the Great Western Railway, it was the first ever pacific in Britain, wasn't successful but lead the way for the other railway companies. She was rebuilt as a Great Western Castle and then sadly scrapped.
That's right, I forgot about the Great Bear. So, he's basically the eldest of all Gresley's pacifics :P
i saw a pic of it and it looks handsom
