Title: 1st Post. Rookie to railroading
Post by: rdesa2 on April 17, 2012, 10:02:53 PM
Hi,

I'm new to model trains and was curious which of the 41 Bachmann train sets offered have a steam locomotive with light and smoke? I didn't know if anyone had a quick answer instead of having to click on each of the links. I know the overland does, but was looking for something smaller to begin with. Any information would help. Thanks.

You could look at any Bachmann set that has an 0-6-0 tender engine. Not the Digital Steam Commander one but any of the other 0-6-0 Tender engine sets.

The Chattanooga is a nice little 0-6-0 that falls in that category. I got it for about $100 as a DC train to get me started in the hobby.
